How to Find Us at the Flying Cloud Bed and Breakfast, Nanaimo B & B, Vancouver Island,

From Victoria, South Nanaimo and Nanaimo Airport. (Vancouver Island)

• Follow Highway 1 North to Highway 19A.
• 19A to Terminal Avenue (keep to the left).
• From Terminal Avenue North turn Right on Departure Bay Road (just before Brooks Landing).
• Follow 2km to Hammond Bay Road just past Departure Bay Beach turn Right at the lights.
• Follow 1.3 km to Nottingham Drive and turn Left.
• Follow Nottingham Drive, second right is Cumberland Place.
• We are 581 Cumberland Place on the Right hand side.

From North Nanaimo, BC, Canada

• Heading south on the freeway, outside of Nanaimo is two choices, exit 29 for Departure Bay Ferry and exit 28 for Victoria and Aulds Road exit.
• Exit 29 takes you past the north end of Woodgrove Mall. When you reach the south end get into left turn lane at intersection.
• To the left is HAMMOND BAY ROAD and to the right is AULDS ROAD. Turn left onto HAMMOND BAYROAD.
• Next intersection is at UPLANDS. Go straight on HAMMOND BAY ROAD. About 6 km. point a new development is being built on right side of road with sign that says Nottingham Road. Continue past this
  for a couple of hundred yards and look for Nottingham Road on your right and
• turn right at this second sign.
• Turn right, follow up hill to 2nd right turn at CUMBERLAND PLACE. Flying Cloud is at end of street on right.
• If you have taken exit 28, turn left on AULDS ROAD, cross the ISLAND HIGHWAY and start clocking from next intersection at UPLANDS and follow directions as for the exit 29.
• We are 581 Cumberland Place on the Right hand side.

From the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal

• When driving off ferry get into the right hand lane. Look for sign that says "PARKSVILLE 19A to 19 North"
• Turn right at that sign and follow BRECHIN ROAD up the hill.
• Stay in right lane and look for traffic sign that show two arrows, one going left and one going right.
• Take right turn, go short distance to stop sign.
• Go straight ahead onto DEPARTURE BAY ROAD. Brooks landing/ Thrifty's should be on your left. Follow down the hill, along beach, about 3 km. to intersection.
• Turn right onto HAMMOND BAY ROAD.
• Follow for 1.3 km. up the hill and at the top look for the left turn lane and turn left onto NOTTINGHAM DRIVE.
• Go up the hill past CROSSBOW Drive on the right and then turn right on CUMBERLAND PLACE.
• We are 581 Cumberland Place on the Right hand side.
